Description
A mix of many Asian themes — Chinese in particular: the red dress (good fortune, marriage), the Phoenix (representing the wife in marriage), jade (representing health). And no, I'm not getting married
Painted in Satori FilmFX64. That jade drum was a pain to do. Shown here is a cropped version. I cropped out a bit of the surroundings to keep focus at the girl and her drum. Otherwise she'd look tiny in the whole image. No refs used.

The red and green are so vibrant
love the pose.
Only thing is that the fire could be more present/ saturated
A top artwork + 10

@loneorbit: She has just struck her last strike (it's a typical final pose for this type of drummers
And yes, it was a deliberate choice to flatten the view as much as possible (as seen through a telelens from a distance), so the depth information of the floor was rather "irritating" for me to do, hehe.

@Andy--Jones: i usually do strive for a cinematic effect. the sky could use some subtle colour variation to make it less flat. thanks.
